  12.  BG> Beijing--Fear of AIDS is becoming prevalent in China, but

  14.  BG> disease, according to the government English-language weekly  magazine
  15.  BG> Beijing Review.  The known numbers of AIDS cases in  China are 
  16.  BG> relatively small.  Last month, health officials  reported that 969 
  17.  BG> Chinese were infected with HIV.  Overall, 12  people have AIDS--nine
